Lake Nakuru serves as the heart of the park, providing a sanctuary for a diverse array of wildlife. Its alkaline waters attract numerous bird species and animals to its shores.
The tranquil scenery features a mix of grasslands, marshes, rocky outcrops, cliffs, and sedge, with yellow-barked acacia trees enhancing the quintessential African wilderness feel.
The park boasts a rich array of wildlife, including a notable presence of predators, indicative of a plentiful prey population. Among the standout mammals are giraffes and two species of rhinoceros, while waterbucks are more prevalent here than in many other parks.
Game drive, boat ride and cycling at Hells Gate National Park
We drive to Hells Gate National Park which is the only animal park in Kenya where you can cycle enjoying the scenery of different types of animals like giraffes and zebras. With a stopover on the way at the Great Rift valley viewpoint for Photos and then proceed to the gate for a three hours game drive.
We proceed and drive to Lake Naivasha for the Boat ride enjoying the view of Hippos till lunch time. Have lunch at the Restaurant in Lake Naivasha and then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
